You have configured 2 lan cards with the same IP
subnets on a single host. That is why it is not
working. Instead keep a different IP subnet for your
lan and a different one for your Internet gateway lan
(your centos to router interface). Probably, you can
do this by changing the IP of Internet router and also
the DHCP scope range.

Then to keep it simple and easy, download and install
'Firestarter' a decent and simple gui-based interface
to iptables. Using Firestarter you can easily setup IP
forwarding so that Internet is available to all the
machines in your lan.

Do you also have another DHCP server in the lan where
eth1 is connected?
