Ah, good you got the kernel module working. Did you have to do something
specific to avoid the problem you experienced at first?

Actually I haven't gotten the kernel module working. I tried what you
suggested (use the kernel module from 0.7.6-4) but I get the same
behavior--the usb dies. Anyway, I attached my dmesg from when I tried
the kernel module from the latest development release (0.7.7-2). I
hope you can look at it!

Good testing! Did you try to press the stylus while you were out in the
corner? My pointer jumps out into the corner when I do so I can get out into
it, but I agree that can be a bit annoying...

I guess I assumed that the stylus is completely ignored by the driver
when out on the corner, but yes, pressing the stylus out in the corner
causes the cursor to jump to the corner.
