There are some gateways available in Standard (nee Professional). Enterprise
allows more and the ability to create your own.
"Event Gateways" are an important feature of MX 7 and deserve looking into.
I am currently rebuilding a major AusGov site with MX 7 and event gateways
are a key feature that (easy to do) blew them away. Of course this is with
Enterprise.
Use the Developer version (which is Enterprise on 3 IP addresses) and
experiment.

Don't you have to be running CFMX Enterprise to take advantage of the
gateways?

I've done some very cool things with the asynchronous gateway so far, and
there's so much more that can be done with gateways. It'll probably be two
years before people really figure out what gateways can really allow us to
do. Might make a good meeting topic if you're up for presenting ... (I
know, I'm a meeting topic whore!)
