what is a good resource to learn more about event gateways?

Cool stuff Peter!  Good point about the developer edition--since that
has the same functionality as Enterprise you can definitely play with
all this stuff quite easily.  I've started using the asynchronous
gateway for all sorts of long-running processes that don't really
involve the user end of things and it's been a godsend.
