I got it for $50 from the local J1Toys store in Arlington Heights.

Just FYI. I read some article and at least in Hong Kong Z2.0 is dropping price fast. It's either overstocking or not selling well. For US, I noticed that http://www.hoaoutlet.com/ is selling it at $47.50, which is probably a good price for mail order within US for such new kit.

Update to say that the tail binder was first fixed in the Zeta Plus after all.

Just to let everyone know I also had picked up a MG Zeta 2.0 when I got my Gabthley.  Since there is a great review up at MAHQ I didn't have as much incentive to write anything up at first.  But there were a few things that weren't touched upon in that review that I wanted to mention.

  1. The Tail Binder - The biggest problem I had with the PG and MG Ver 1 Zeta kits was the Tail Binder.  Since it was connected by a polycap in both of those kits it ALWAYS falls out.  Superglue fixes it for a while, but it always gets loose again.  The new kit took the poly cap out of the equation and the results are AWESOME.  I don't remember off the top of my head if the Zeta Plus had the poly cap so it might not be new.

  1. Wave Rider Mode ROCKS - I NEVER got my old MG Kit to fully reach Wave Rider mode.  The new kit is more solid than ANY of the other Zeta kits, including Z-Plus, with the sole exclusion of the HGUC version.  It is ROCK solid.  The ONLY minute flaw is that it is very hard to get the shield connected 100% correctly to the upper torso armor because of how tight the transformation is.  There seems to always be a very slight gap between the Cockpit cover and the shield nosecone.  Often it I try to push it in all the way the armatures holding the Wing Binders in place pops up.  Even with this issue, the transformation remains solid.  I will take a picture tonight to demonstrate the issue.  It might be user error in how I am handling the transformation.

  1. The hands - while they have a slot in the palms to help them hold the weapons, it sometimes pops out when trying to carry the Hyper Mega Launcher.  It is only a minor annoyance though.  And it can hold the HML in a pose.

  1. The upper arms to shoulder connection - The arm has popped out of the shoulder connector a few times just like the MG GP-02a.  Luckily it doesn't have a huge shield to contend with so the problem isn't that bad. It has only been an annoyance when trying to pose the kit with the HML.

  1. Cover art - while the cover art is awesome, it actually differs from the ver 2 kit.  IMHO the front skirt armor, hip binders, and shoulder armor look more like the ver 1 MG Zeta.

Overall I would say that this kit is a definitely a marvel of engineering and a steal for 5000 yen.
