They got rid of Lapti Nek and the Ewok Celebration Song in the revamped versions? I never saw them so I didn't know. Outrage! Atrocity! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> You don't know the half of it. Lapti Nek was removed in favor of a cheesey duet/dance number between a new CGI Sy Snootles and a Yuzzum. It had a Weequay beating drums and getting down to the music, a lizard playing a harmonica-like instrument, and 3 new backup singer/dancers. The worst part of it is that Sy and the Yuzzum are singing directly to the camera, thereby breaking the 4th wall/dimension/whatever its called which effectively takes you right out of the movie. With the Celebration they played orchestral music and added a montage of people celebrating at Mos Eisley, Cloud City, Theed, and Coruscant. I wondered how the news spread so quickly... And the weirdest change to Jedi was when they replaced Sebastian Shaw in the force ghost scene at the end with Hayden Christensen's head, as he looked in Revenge of the Sith, grafted on to Sebastian Shaw's body. Allegedly the official explanation is that your "Force Ghost image" is locked in to when you were last on the light side of the Force. This was important because the Sith, who were seeking immortality, could never achieve it because they were on the Dark Side of the Force. But since Anakin became good again at the end of Jedi as an old man, it makes this explanation a lot harder to swallow.
