>>>>>>>>>> I hated them all, mostly because they were the precursors to the prequels being so irritatingly childish. Ok, so you have one Muppet (Yoda), that doesn't mean that Jedi has to become the Muppet Show. And the Ewok "yub yub" dance/song number at the end always horrified me. So when I heard they were ditching that bit I was, initially, happy. Then we get to witness *cg* Muppets in Jabba's gansta pad and my friends and I just look at one another in the theater with these "What the fuck?" looks on our faces. No way a criminal kingpin of Jabba's level tolerates a band that lame. But most of the other changes in the "Special" Editions were worse. I think the only part I ever truly was on board with was the redone Death Star battle in "A New Hope". It looked too cg but it was in improvement in terms of making it mesh better with the dogfights in Empire and Jedi. I liked the extended Mos Eisley but hated the stupid floating droid ball that looked like a ripoff from "Heavy Metal" (Stern!!). >>>>>>>>>>>>
Did you mind any of the changes to Empire? I thought those were fine. As far as Jedi, you obviously didn't like the Ewoks anyway so your opinion of that movie was already low. I can agree with you about the new stupid CGI band, but then again they were performing for the "Special Edition" Jabba who will let a punk smuggler step on him without having him killed on the spot... ;P -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
