RE: [RE][gundam] Episode 6 spoilers

A couple more items...   Assuming that the voice over the loudspeaker in the episode 1 intro was indeed the mercenary's, it may or may not mean anything.  It's possible that they just used his voice because it would be a few episodes before we saw his character and they needed a "generic male voice".  And it seems a little odd that a mercenary would be broadcasting genocidal messages about killing everyone who wasn't "Dominic" (whatever that is).  You'd think that sort of thing would be left to the true believers..  Of course, it's also possible that he was a "true believer" back then, and is a mercenary now because his side lost.  We'll probably find out more next episode.     RE: Colony Construction - Virtue was smuggled up as "colony parts", so something's going on in orbit with colonies.  I assumed that this meant that there were already colonies in space, but now that I think about it they haven't actually been mentioned so far.     junior ---------[ Received Mail Content ]---------- Subject : RE: [RE][gundam] Episode 6 spoilers Date : Mon, 12 Nov 2007 23:58:32 -0700 From : Matthew Robinson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To : <list@gundam.com> About the mercenary (name is apparently Ali Al Sarshes) -- I wonder if he was one of Setsuna's old comrades, or an enemy instead? Wikipedia's entry claims it was his voice being broadcast across the Kurdish Republic in the first scene; that implies it was his Anf mobile suits razing Setsuna's homeland. If that's the case, it reminds me a bit of Gauron and Sousuke from Full Metal Panic... Sounded like some of the characters were alluding to plans for space colony construction in the future. I doubt we'll actually see one completed during the series (unless it's in the epilogue or something -- along with discussion of adopting a new calendar?), but it wouldn't surprise me to see such construction used as a cover for the construction of a Colony Laser.
