I would prefer that remarks like this be tied to what I actually
said, which is:

If you disagree with this, please tell me exactly where the "negative
light" is. Is the ORSC not a small faction? Does it have a large
remit?

My remarks were in reply to Jonathan Zittrain's suggestion that the
ORSC list and the IFWP list were interchangeable, or would be if the
ORSC rules were adopted by the IFWP list.

Wrong. If you would bother to read what you are so quick to reply
to, you would see that what I wrote was a reply to Zittrain.

I can't translate the last remark.

As regards the two lists being totally different in character and purpose,
this is essentially what I said in reply to Zittrain's suggestion that
the two lists are equivalent.

As regards the "personal degrading comments about Richard, this is the
ONLY mention of Richard Sexton in the email you are replying to:

I fail to see how this is personal or degrading. And of course I didn't
mention Richard at all, except by quoting what Zittrain said.

In response to your question, yes I have read the ORSC rules.

Unfortunately, what you post makes it clear that you did not read what
you are replying to.

Rather than complaining about my remarks, Richard thought about what I
wrote and linked his Web site back to www.ifwp.org, for which I thank him.

Richard and I correspond privately reasonably often and I count him as
a friend.
