I don't think so. The .US TLD has always had a close relationship
with the USG, unlike some other ccTLDs. The present reorganization
is sponsored by the DOC, but this is just a local, national matter.
No comment is being made on the organization of other ccTLDs. The
governments of those other countries are free to sponsor or not the
organization of their copuntries' domain spaces.
