Yes. And it seems to be generalized and supported. The Internet is
going to be distorted, manipulated, constrained, and deviated from
its original purpose. That's why the .US reorganization is so
important for Americans, and why independence of some ccTLDs from
similar manipulations by national special interests is so important.
When trademarks and technocracy have overwhelmed the gTLDs, there
must be someplace left in the world-wide name space for others to
take refuge.
