Hmmm.  There are many cultures represented by these mailing lists.
They've expressed an interest in openness, and thus far, have been
willing to be open.  Do you think it's more of a personal issue, as
opposed to a cultural issue?  For example, if I were a Board member, I
would be less likely to want to be open if I thought people were going
to misquote me, or quote me out of context.
