The TLD for American Samoa, .as, is sometimes used by Norwegian companies
because AS is the abbreviation for "Aksjeselskap" (Inc.) in Norwegian. So
the company "Aker Fonds AS" has akerfonds.as, etc.
Well, maybe that wasn't such a hot idea after all - because right now all
the (supposedly) authoritative name servers for .as,
as. 2D IN NS AUTH02.NS.UU.NET.
as. 2D IN NS MUNNARI.OZ.AU.
as. 2D IN NS LHR.NS.GDNS.NET.
as. 2D IN NS DCA.NS.GDNS.NET.
are non-authoritative. Another vanity TLD bites the dust?
