I'd be willing to bet that it's not a problem. The .swf file that is the compiled flex application is wrapped in an HTML wrapper. I *think* you're search engine stuff could be included in that wrapper, and you'd be fine. Does that sound right? Sounds right to me. :o)

To an extent, yes--Flex is still not how every single web site/app on
the planet should be built. Like everything it has its strengths and
weaknesses. For apps in which you need to replicate desktop-like
functionality it's great. For apps that are more content-driven HTML
is a better fit.

This is one of the advantages of deploying Flex and Flash apps through
the Apollo runtime (which isn't available yet, but they talked it up
big time at MAX).
