I see! Okay, that makes sense. Sure, cnn.com or some other site isn't really an "application" it's a content-driven site with lots of pages (well, like an online newspaper). A blog isn't really an application either (though this could be a bit of a gray area I suppose), at least from the reader's standpoint.

Thanks, Matt!

This is going to sound stupid, but could you define "content-driven"? I
think I know what you're getting at, but would like to hear it if you
wouldn't mind. :o)

Sure--by "content-driven" I mean things like cnn.com, a blog, etc. are
not ideal candidates for Flex in my mind. Maybe "page-centric" is a
better way to explain it. I've seen a few Flex blog implementations
but none are as effective as plain ol' HTML. This is getting better
with Flex 2, but I don't see HTML going away. Something like a
bulletin board, on the other hand, tends to work really well in Flex
because conceptually these are more message-driven (like email) vs.
page-centric like blog or news sites.
