As for the devices I'm trying to detect, I'm going for any mobile
device
that is a non-desktop laptop machine...anything that might have too
small a
screen for the main site. Phones, PDAs, blackberry devices, etc. I
don't
need to know any of their features because all I'm going to do is
forward
them to the mobile site.
The mobile site will be very simple and straight-forward text and menu
to
minimize bandwidth for mobile users who often have to pay by the
bandwidth
they use and provide something many different devices can use.
