Not me, I just want to destroy it - it's the male aggression part, you
know...

progress of REBOL?
Yes. Old bug reports, ill-considered requests, flames, and so on. If a
newcomer reads it, they'll just get confused. Consider this case:
"I read in the archives that REBOL hasn't got a replacement command
and it's coming out soon in the next version. I tried "replacement" and it
didn't work. When is rebol going to make it available and why haven't they
done it sooner? [curse and swear]"
This newcomer gets a bad impression of REBOL. We know that 'replace is
available right now, but we won't be able to change the old email messages
that say a replacement command isn't available.
> If not, what is the "big" deal about making this information available.
Let the REBOL community decide through a survey of whether to have this
information available or not, if it even exists? Does it and who has it?
The really old stuff is obsolete. While there may still be a few gems
tucked away in there, it'll be way, way outnumbered by all the rubbish.
Better that it's discarded and forgotten about.
But, I'm always open to counter arguments! :-)
