It's not a conspiracy, Cheryl.
REBOL has been moving target, and some people are just concerned that
taking old messages out of context will only confuse people.
One good solution would be to start a digest, and to archive the
digests by date and current REBOL version. Search parameters could then
include date and/or REBOL version. This would let people interested in
the evolution of the language study the morgue, but help keep novices
away form dangerously obsolete information.
It may also be helpful to start a real knowledge base, where people can
post complete solutions rather than winding through threads (see
"KABOB" post). Searching the list archives should be a last resort.

Now, my interest is more than piqued. Are you guys trying to hide
something?
Is there information in the past that could damage the present and
future
progress of REBOL? If not, what is the "big" deal about making this
information available. Let the REBOL community decide through a survey
of
whether to have this information available or not, if it even exists?
Does
it and who has it?
Thanks,
Cheryl
