Hi Lodewijk,

If this list was on full moderation, that would put a limit on the ability
to have productive discussions, such as the collective discussion not so
long ago about a proposal to delete certain emails from the list archives.

I'm fine with any list admin making a reasonably on-topic post to this
list. That includes both asking for help, and asking people to use
Phabricator in cases where Phabricator is a good option.

As a reminder: most people are not obligated to read threads on mailing
lists, including this one. If a subject does not interest someone then
he/she can simply archive or delete the thread.

I am fine with curtailing spam, trolling, and highly off-topic posts. Other
than that, I think that if someone subscribes to mailing lists -- and takes
the extra step of becoming a mailing list administrator -- then he/she
should expect to receive emails, including at least some that may not
especially interest him/her but which are somehow related to the list that
he/she agreed to moderate.
