I agree with the other guys and say to follow closely
the other motard builds that way you dont burn up your
etek.  Pay particular attention to their sprocket
ratios.  (Hey they did most of the research already) 
And also, Bill Dube' on the EVDL brought up an
interesting point of reducing shock to the chain and
motor by using the rubber absorbers for the rear
sprocket.
