I've asked Cedric Lynch to join in with this group, since he came up with the motor construction in the first place. Hopefully he'll get around to it soon.

The Perm motor is really the only motor you need to worry about locking up. The Eteks, the original Lynch/Lemco, and the Agni, all have more or less smooth outer casings. The Etek was redesigned that way, since it overheats quite easily. It's only the Perm with it's peripheral cooling slots that really seems to have a problem.

In any case if you keep the peak motor temperature down, you shouldn't have a problem.
