needed to replace my brushes after only 571 miles on the motor [1500 total
thus far for the bike on electric
power] the brushes were worn down to 4 mm on the neg and 1 mm on the
positive.
Which way are you running the motor?
The brush timing is optimised for rotation in one direction and although
it's adjustable (by moving the magnets), you really need to have it on a
dyno to do so.
