Hi Steve, What do you think the finished weight on the bike is going to be and what type of acceleration are you looking for?
If the bike is going to be over 500lbs plus rider, the 300A controller might be a little small, but I definitely like the Alltrax line of controllers. I have used several of them and they have all held up great. I'm going to start off with an Elec-Trak snowblower motor and some AGMs to get a feel for what I really need. I was hoping to use a Curtis 1204X controller I had bought, but it doesn't seem to work. So, any suggestions on controllers? I'll be running 36 or 48V. I guess the big question is what size (amp-wise) a controller I need since that correlates with price.
