Steve,
Your requirements are basically the same as mine.  Take a look at
http://www.evalbum.com/preview.php?vid=1231
for the details on my bike as a reference point.  I don't think you
will get the range you need on 200 lbs of lead batteries without
discharging your batteries way beyond 50% and shortening their life.
If I were doing my bike now I would put in a 96V 3kWh pack of A123 or
K2 cells with the same Ah rating.  This would be about 100 lbs vs the
300lbs I have now.  I need a higher voltage to get my top end up to
about 60MPH and I never draw more than 600A from the PC1500s I have in
the pack now that can supply up to 1500A.  me
