Ah...gotcha. This just stuck me as a little odd given that VS is meant to be a
development environment and SPD is meant for 'design'.

I wanted to get to the Styles dir to modify the HTML output of certain Web
Parts. So I suppose SPD is the recommended method for creating new XSL styles?

What I'm really trying to achieve is a modification of the Advanced Search web
part's ghastly HTML output but it seems this doesn't use an XSL file but the
default renderer.

Is there any way to get to the files responsible for this inaccessible and god
awful mess?

Regards,

Paul

Subject: [OzMOSS] Possibly the silliest question yet

Having established that most of the MOSS files I want to edit only exist in the
database, I am now making my first foray into this dark world with VS2005.

So, my silliest question yet (#3847) is: how do I connect/browse the site
structure?

Please be gentle. J

Cheers,

Paul
