I chose a different approach for tracking an old deployed build back to its source version. I read about the idea from Jeremy Miller and Richard Banks and it involves using the TFS changeset number as part of the assembly version number. Just wanted to get back to the source to check out something but didn't realise I can't go off the label anymore because TFS actually removes it.
