The local big box store that sells computers told me last week that they had
just received a shipment of new desk top computers loaded with XP not Vista.
I had been shopping for a flat screen LCD display t oreplace my aging CRT.
going with a "w i d e" screen display is like dropping one size in regular
displays if you are still running XP or other program designed for 3 X 4
formating.

Using a wide screen simply is not an option with CAD programs unless you
spend a thousand $$$ for upgrades.
We tried it at the ofice and found drawings badly distorted. Was told we
hwoudl have to upgrade the software as wel as the drivers. Using just th
edriver simply gives you a reduced 3 X 4 format with lots of black screen on
the sides.
