Yes, if one does not have a urinary tract infection, urine straight from the 
body is sterile.  

However, if you try peeing in a container, one that is constantly used for 
urine, the contents will become quite smelly during normal use, a condition I 
have always assumed meant biological activity.

I know nothing about this, but a cruising nurse from Minnesota recently told me 
that urine is sterile.
