As a Canadian, I take offense at the way this post was written. I know of many Canadians who can not enter the US because of minor Criminal conviction.
Just want to let you know that our entry laws are just as strict as those into the US. Neither country want to have "criminals" coming into the country. And I know going into the US that includes such convictions as 20 yr old DUI's. I think both sides have to look at the totality of the offence and how long ago it occured. Even a DWI or misdemeanor will keep you out. It is all on a shared data base. A few searches on the topic will reveal a host of horror stories. Do you realize that in about 40 years we will have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos and pierced navels? _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
