We are not going to take a direct hit so it shouldn't be as bad.

There is a warehouse full of stuff I don't know about hurricanes, but
I'd get as far away from that seawall as possible. Good luck!

Subject: [Liveaboard] storm anchor

I am side tied to a concrete seawall. I would like to be able to setup
some kind of storm anchor or mooring type situation to pull the boat
away from the sea wall for storms like the one that is coming. Not that
I think we are going to have a problem with this one. I am looking for
a cheap solution to do this. Bottom is pretty soft mud, It's at the end
of a canal so no much in the way of waves but some water rise.

Am I better with just a regular anchor or something like a mushroom
anchor with a lot of weight? Can I make something that will work?

Thanks,

Vern
