I think this is not what you asked, but another option: AOL now allows people to retain their Email account and AOL Login, even if they are not using AOL as their ISP.
So, you could leave all the AOL stuff in place, and just change the actual Internet service to the underlying Verizon DSL. I helped someone move from AOL, and this was actualy a good way as he was 'use to' the way AOL did things, so for him nothing changed. Just he got faster (DSL) service at lower cost. -al- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lew Hodgett" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 06, 2008 2:36 PM Subject: Re: [Liveaboard] Need Some Advice > Have been asked by a friend to transition an AOL Dial-Up account to a > Verizon DSL, on then same puter. > > Can't seem to find an "Export" utility for the address book and e-mails > in AOL. > > Can someone, who is AOL literate, point me in the right direction? > > Appreciate the help. > > Thanks, > > Lew > > _______________________________________________ > Liveaboard mailing list > [email protected] > To adjust your membership settings over the web > http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard > To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ > > To search the archives > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] > > The Mailman Users Guide can be found here > http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
