She got a Verizon DSL modem and so my daughter set it up for her to use AOL with the Verizon modem. My daughter also disabled the wireless because my mom was using a desktop which didn't have wireless capability.
When my mom died, I took her modem and enabled it on my account, but I did not change ISPs. I don't know about other ISPs, but Verizon would take me through the procedure to set the modem up. >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Lew Hodgett" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[email protected]> >Sent: Thursday, November 06, 2008 2:36 PM >Subject: Re: [Liveaboard] Need Some Advice > > >> Have been asked by a friend to transition an AOL Dial-Up account to a >> Verizon DSL, on then same puter. >> >> Can't seem to find an "Export" utility for the address book and e-mails >> in AOL. >> >> Can someone, who is AOL literate, point me in the right direction? >> I think the folder that AOL stores the defaults etc in is called Organize >> Appreciate the help. >> >> Thanks, >> >> Lew >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Liveaboard mailing list >> [email protected] >> To adjust your membership settings over the web >> http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard >> To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> >> To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ >> >> To search the archives >> http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] >> >> The Mailman Users Guide can be found here >> http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html > >_______________________________________________ >Liveaboard mailing list >[email protected] >To adjust your membership settings over the web >http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard >To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] >The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ > >To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] > >The Mailman Users Guide can be found here >http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://www.liveaboardnow.org/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardnow.org/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
