Yes, I purchased one and although I have not done and scientific 
testing, I can say that my house bank is made up of 2 group 31s that are 
still running strong after 5 years of service and I just lost the 3rd 
battery that had been in service for over 9 years.  (Yes, I know I 
should not be mixing batteries of varying vintage).
