My house battery bank is now going on 7 years. 6

I have four 75 watt Seimens solar panels feeding the charger input circuit
keeping the batteries up. When I sailed from Ft Lauderdale to Port Lavaca 4
years ago, I plugged into a shoreside socket twice in 5 months. That is with
refrigeration. So these batteries have been used and misused/abused (low
water levels) for their entire life. They seem to be still going strong.
