Hi, Jim, and list,

I personally know Larry, have been in his home, and he in my boat.

Fantastic fellow, but not productive, unfortunately, in this particular
area, as he's a guy who does favors for boaters in return for rides and
perks aboard - and, of course, all the boats, therefore, are operational,
not in the yard! A couple of years ago, when I needed it, he did provide a
single reference a long way up the Wapoo - and that turned out OK - but he
told me that was just a hearsay, and he was sorry that he didn't have any
other suggestions.

However, for those here who don't mind wading through some trolls,
occasionally, I recommend rec.boats.cruising, a usenet newsgroup. I've been
an active member there for well over 10 years, as has Larry.

Larry is THE go-to guy for electrical and electronic questions; he's a
retired component-level electronic technician, Ultra level (or whatever the
highest grade was before it came down to the current three levels) Ham
operator since he was 13, and some stories to tell about his time in the
Navy in Iran, being a high-level techie, that are simply amazing...
