If Georgetown is at all acceptable, I strongly suggest calling Ronnie
Campbell. He's got a railway right on the waterfront, is honest as the
day is long, very fair, and a _very_ knowledgeable seaman. If I could
somehow make sure that all my future haul-outs happened at Ronnie's, I'd
pay extra for the privilege. He also runs the local TowBoat/US, so he's
pretty easy to find.
If you're just north of Charleston, and need mechanical service - I
don't think they do haul-outs, though - the Isle of Palms Marina now
employs an acquaintance of mine, Mike. He's a good ol' Southern boy who
understands engines better than almost anyone I've ever met.
Say 'hi' to those guys for me if you meet'em. :) Good people both.
