RE: Subject The only workable solution is to isolate the engine from the hull using something like an AquaDrive (A CV joint) complete with soft engine mounts matched to engine weight.
After that, lead foam sheet will help isolate airborne noise. Reduced sound level over 30 dB after installing an AquaDrive. BTDT, forget the T-Shirt.
