Once last thing. I wanted to do a quick and dirty build so I could get
cracking. BUT the nALFS profile is WAY OUT from the sources in
/lfs-sources. The profile is based on LFS 6.1 while the lfs-sources
look to be a recent development build (gcc-4.0.2?), Patches that I
can't find in the patch directories on lfs(from memory
something-specs-2?).
jhalfs is quick and dirty. :)
From within the livecd:
svn co svn://svn.linuxfromscratch.org/ALFS/jhalfs/branches/0.2 jhalfs
cd jhalfs
[edit the jhalfs.conf file to fit your needs]
[move the sources to your mount-point, ie, mv /lfs-sources /mnt/lfs/ ]
./jhalfs -M -P
(-P will download any sources or patches missing, ie, if the LiveCD is a
little behind the book)

Thanks! I wanted to try that out. I'll give it a go later...
