I have successfully managed a remaster - I just recompiled the
kernel without the sym53c8xx driver and then reproduced the iso. I
do however look forward to the new release!
Still, it would be nice if you build the kernel _with_ the sym53c8xx
driver and the patch. This way, I would be 100% sure that the patch
is correct for you, before releasing the CD.
Ok, I'll try and do that tonight.
I've run into other problems with my server though as it randomly turns itself
on and off during an LFS build!
