Although I'm in favor of a vote, I also think that when the right name is
suggested, it will be unanimously picked. Picking names is hard and
although people want to justify the name they've proposed, that doesn't
make it better.
When the GAIM project was given an ultimatum by AOL (AIM) to rename or lose
protocol support, they ingeniously picked Pidgin.
This double-entendre is the BEST name. Then they got a cool mascot done by
a professional designer.

I haven't seen a name that fits the bill yet. I had proposed "Khord" (K =
Kde, Chord = Music), but without upvotes, I accept my name is not great and
wait for more proposals.
No reason to argue something that doesn't work. When the right name gets
proposed, we'll all know.
