Could you explain what benefits do you see of having a descriptive name (as
opposed to a non-descriptive one)?
I think that descriptive names tend to sound bad and boring, unless they
form a funny abbreviation (like "GIMP" or "GNU").
Maybe it'd be a good direction to join both types:
Descriptive full name + Good sounding abbreviation.
A recursive abbreviation is also a common thing in GNU/Linux World (*GNU =
GNU Not Unix* for example)
My example and a new proposal:
*BUSS *as in* BUSS Unison Sound Studio* (hidden meanings: BUZZ, mixer BUS,
a kiss (Urban Dictionary states so, that's not much wanted by me, but I'm
okay with it - reminds me of Love Making Music Studio proposal)
