I don't know what it does, that's why xD
Anyway, 256 sounds fine, and after having changed all those settings you
said it seems that it's all working fine.
I opened 5 VSTs and 1 Zyn, keeping their UIs opened, and nothing was wrong.
Then I opened Synth1, which didn't load. LMMS didn't crash, but it was
stuck on loading. But I think this is not a big deal.
For the autosave function, is there any way to have it back?
Thanks a lot! I'll reply again if the problem continues.

I'll try my best. I can even give you a dxdiag if you want it.
My computer setup
- AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor, 3.00Ghz
- Ram: 4,00 GB
- Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 64bit (6.1, build 7601)
- ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series, about 2296 MB
- Realtek High Definition Audio
my LMMS setup
- Buffer: 4096 frames (92.9 ms)
Why is that so high? 90ms latency is ridiculous, not to mention, a
large buffer size will cause more quantization in most automations,
including pitch bends...
With your setup, you should be able to do perfectly fine with a 256
frame buffer, 512 at most. Remember, smaller is better.
- "sync VST plugins to host playback" is off
Try turning that on.
- Directories contain letters, number and spaces (not underscore, but
spacebar). These are compulsory, because of windows naming its
Program path like "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)". No other
symbols.
- Auto save feature is ON, but for some reason I can't recover
projects since 1.0.0, but this is another story
Turn autosave off. It doesn't work very well for all setups.
- Audio Interface: SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer), no device set
- Midi interface: WinMM MIDI
Those should be fine.
