values.

But an idea that has already been talked about on the mailing list is
creating the possibility to add per-note controls in instruments.
Instruments plugins would each have to expose these controls
specifically, by a specially designed API, and you could then set them
in the piano roll the same way as note volume and panning.

This could only work for native LMMS instruments though, so no Zyn or VST.

However, this is a bit off-topic... this "per-note controls" idea is
still very much theoretical at this point, and it's not certain
if/when/how it gets done.
