I, for one, think you are posting pretty pointless responds as this feature
clearly wasn't aimed at experienced users which know how to use effects and
the effect chain properly. What I meant by this sentence is that you must
see this from a new users perspective, or else this feature will be
pointless indeed. The feature is (if it ever will be) aimed at new users
which then wouldn't have to read up on effects to find out what effect they
need. Also my vision of this does not include any unmovable pre-populated
effects on any channel, it would just add a tab called Eq, alternatively it
could be in one of the already existing tab.

Personally it took me days to figure out what kind of effect (the name) I
needed to adjust frequencies when I started. If it had been a tab in LMMS, I
would have learnt it much quicker.
