Hi

i just found a nice feature of ardour (which probably is known to all of
you XD): if you have two wave parts on the same track and overlapping,
ardour seems to automatically cross-fade them.

shall we do this in MusE as well? to me, this looks really cool.

two question arises to me:
1. what if the user wants overlapping parts and to NOT crossfade them?
offer a one-keystroke-way to change a part from "auto crossfade" to
"just overlap"? (also keep in mind that i want to make MIDI tracks
wave tracks behave equally, so also MIDI-parts shall crossfade
   somehow, if desired.)
2. what if more than two parts overlap, which to crossfade then?

thoughts, ideas?

greetings
flo
