I think that it's more that they weren't looking for it.  LPIC-3 is something
that has been promised for years now.  This is just the fulfillment of that
promise.  A developer cert has definitely been discussed.  Just no promises.

I don't think that we need another list for that discussion.  My point is
just that a few of us won't be paying it much attention while focused on
LPIC-3 development.

This is an open list.  And as long as two general rules are observed,
anything is discussable.  Those rules are no flame wars (arguments are fine,
though ;) and no discussing exam content (ie. the real questions on the
exams).
