Why we should do that? Because in my opinion LPIC certification is too expensive. One exam would reduce the price. LPIC2 - ok, 2 exams because it's not as easy as LPIC1. LPIC3 - make it difficult, very difficult, but give people possibility to be LPIC3 certified without needing to pass LPIC1 and LPIC2 exams (just like Cisco CCIE). There should be also simulations like on Cisco exams - not only learning everything by heart. Many comparisons to Cisco...sorry, but I know only their certification program. My 0,02$... -- pozdr.
