Just a note on this and my interaction with Xerox.

I spent many hours on the phone with them trying to get a hold on this
issue, the following are some of the phrases I remember hearing....

LPwhat? I am sorry we dont support *print server software* <this was from
a deaf ear who didn't really want to know what the problem was, I suspect
I was getting close to their alloted time quota for calls>

What version windows are you using...

Let me try and get you through with one of our *Unix* people...click
"thank you for calling Xerox, push one for ....

After numerous attempts to explain what was happening, I gave up on their
support, sent emails but they were never returned.

If possible it may be beneficial to round up a few names of administrators
and possibly a developer *hint hint* who are really trying to make things
work with the newer Xerox printers and then catapault boulders, rather
than throwing rocks.
I know were all pretty busy but comfort in numbers can be a good thing,
sometimes.

 Thanks,

Phil Moses

YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST
The address you post from MUST be your subscription address

If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests
or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body. For the impatient,
to subscribe to a list with name LIST, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
with: | example:
subscribe LIST <mailaddr> | subscribe lprng-digest [EMAIL PROTECTED]
unsubscribe LIST <mailaddr> | unsubscribe lprng [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If you have major problems, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word
LPRNGLIST in the SUBJECT line.
