We are still on RH 7.3, yet this is mostly a print server. so we don't feel the urge 
go for the ES
version. 

curious that has anyone tried what progeny.com is offering ?

speaking without experience ES, however, i am OK as long as they don't make install 
and enable
LPRng miserable. 

I felt annoied when Freebsd current stopped shipping perl. but again, 4.x only ship 
with Perl 5.0
