Chad, Not sure if this is possible for you but just a recommendation. I would set up a server without any print services. Just do bare bones. I am not sure of RH ES3 but I know it was pretty easy in RH9 to strip out stuff during the install. Put in just the essentials to get a gnome GUI and all the development stuff you will need to compile. Then try adding these packages that you need. Try to stick with the versions from the ES3 cd's if the package is on the cd's. Only install what is absolutely necessary to get your print server up. This may help avoid wading through some of the conflicts and dependencies that are tripping you up.

First off, thanks for the support. Now back to the issue =) As Rainer has mentioned, there is no longer a redhat-switch-printer utility. <<clip>> Of course when I query rpm for libglade, it shows up. I fianlly broke down and called RH tech support. They officially told me that they do not support "3rd party software". I got no help from them. In conclusion, do not expect LPRng to work on ES 3, and definately do not expect any support from RH. What were these other packages you all mentioned? Any more insight on trying to get LPRng Tools or printtool to work?
